Have you ever wondered how large pieces of metal are cut, drilled, welded or processed in any other way? At Voortman Steel Group they know it all! Voortman creates high-end steel processing machines with integraded software for automating production processes. From design to logistics, Voortman has automated solutions for it. Over the years, they have grown to a company with 650 employees at 10 locations around the world. The company based in Rijssen is specialised in creating steel-processing machines, but Voortman also helps their clients with maintenance and support for their machines. The program will be as follows:
- 08:45 – Departure from Ravelijn
- 09:45 – Presentation about Voortman Steel Group and subsidiary DIGI-Steel
- 10:30 – Demonstration of the Machinery
- 11:00 – Tour through the Production Facility
- 12:15 – Travelling back to Enschede
- 13:00 – Return in Enschede
